RI has been a founding force in the use of drones and aircraft, in emergency and disaster response. Starting with Radio Controlled model aircraft going back 20+ years. RI was the first to develop a Public Safety Drone operators training program. Our director, a long time RC pilot, worked to develop the sport, turning it into a public safety asset. Bruce was guest speaker at many national UAV tradeshows over the years. Our aviation program welcomes both UAV part 107 and private pilots with conventional aircraft, to join us in our service to those in need. Please contact us or click the join button to get started.

With the events of the Helene’s flooding, in many south eastern states, a movment was started to help with fixed and rotary winged aircraft, flown by private pilots. If you were one of them that helped save lives and deliver supplies we invite you to contact us as a group or as a indvudual, to talk about joining us in keeping the movement going for the next event, were this resources can be put to use in a more formal and pre-orginazed manor.
