Volunteer Canine Teams, bringing loved ones home for over 35 years
CRTF - Rescue International’s Canine Recovery Task Force provides expert Search and Rescue (SAR) services, delivering specialized Humand Remains Recovery canine teams and advanced resources for critical recovery missions. With over 35 years of experience , including 2 weeks at WTC Staten Island Recover site and over two months in the Gulf Coast after Katrina. We support local, state, and federal agencies in natural disasters, missing persons cases, and emergency situations. We are EMAC deployable and federal goverment SAM registered.
Our RRTF SAR capabilities include trained K9 units skilled in human remains detection (HRD) under the CRTF for major operations and live find wilderness K9 searches, water recovery, aviation and drone assets and light urban disaster SARR. Our Water Search Teams use canines and boats with side and down scan SONAR, underwater cameras and a ROV to locate missing persons in water environments, providing vital support in floods and submerged recovery missions. Our RRTF, water rescue teams provide typed Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Teams for rescue and recovery missions.
The Rescue Recovery Task Force (RRTF) deploys these resources to disaster zones, offering skilled searchers, K9 units, and water rescue resources, with notable deployments to disasters like 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. Our technologies unit provides mobile command and communications support, ensuring efficient coordination even in remote or disaster-affected areas.
With a proven track record in both wilderness and urban search operations, water rescue missions, Rescue International has been a critical asset in disaster recovery efforts worldwide, delivering swift and professional SAR assistance wherever it’s needed.
